We interrupt the Lolla reviews for this super funny response to McCain’s latest political ad:

She blogs on her MySpace page. And she wrote this, and I totally admire the courage she has to write so candidly.
Sometimes I think I say too much. Then I read this and feel like a hermit.
Rock on.
RIP Heath Ledger

The story is still developing, but I’m jumping on the blogwagon…
Read the TMZ article here.
I’ll post from Perez when I can get on the site… it’s so overloaded right now that I can’t even get on it.
SO sad…
Heiress, by Paris

I contributed to the Paris Hilton fortune. I fought it. I deliberated it. But I couldn’t help it.
Yesterday was my last day working seasonally part-time at ULTA, your beauty destination, so I wanted to make sure to take full advantage of my employee discount. In doing so, I FINALLY bought her perfume that I’ve been wanting for months:

Merry Christmas to me!

This girl I know said every girl should have one. Here’s mine: (in random order, I must add, and must also note that these folks don’t necessarily HAVE to be around these days):
- Jon Stewart
- Cary Grant
- Ryan Reynolds
- Zach Braff
- Taye Diggs
- Patrick Dempsey
- Justin Chambers
- Adam Brody
- Samaire Armstrong
- Shannyn Sossamon
Honorable mentions:
Eric Szmanda (the chemistry geek on CSI: Las Vegas) and Jonathan Togo (the chem geek on CSI: Miami – I’m convinced this is the same person. Or they could be brothers)
One of these days I will actually put these in order…

For the last few years, my hair style icon has been Christina Aguilera. From the red and black streaks under bleach blonde hair (which I’ve done), to the multi-pastel-colored skinny little braids (which I’ve aspired to), she’s been someone whose hair changes I’ve followed for the past few years.
Well, I have a new style icon. This girl:

Seriously, not only is she naturally beautiful, she’s the nicest of the girls on the show. And I won’t go on about the show, because that’s not the point (though I could gossip with the best of them about how big of a bitch I think Lacey is, or how f*ed up Sam seemed for awhile, but for some reason, I kind of like her), but what I will mention is that I have already spoken with my fearless stylist who will be looking to this particular lady as a bit of inspiration for the next time she does my hair.
No, I will not go quite that Hollywood with it, but it will be Jes-inspired. There will be blonde and there will be vibrant color, likely around the front. It will probably be red instead of pink, but we’ll see… we both know that red in my hair fades to pink, so really… I get the best of both. I’m so excited.
Don’t You Forget About Me

I think one of my all-time favorite movie moments is the moment The Breakfast Club sees Ally Sheedy’s Extreme Makeover Molly-Ringwald Edition. Watching pubescent Emilio Estevez drooling over her is one of the cutest boy-meets-girl cheesy moments in all Hollywood cheesy moments. Almost as good as when Molly Ringwald gives Judd Nelson her precious diamond earring in dramatic, forbidden lovers fashion.
I love this movie.
